Tithing is not giving.  A tithe is mandatory and compulsory. (Malachi 3:8-10)  There were three tithes in Israel’s Old Testament law.  Saved folks today are not under the law. (Romans 6:14)  Jesus tells us to stop tithing and start giving in 2 Corinthians 9:7   (1 Cor 14:37)
